I'll note also that they would have met me at work, at home, at some other place, if I'd wanted, so I don't even lose any time to the service call.

Though the biennial service where they drain and replace fluids and filters will likely have to take place at a service center. The nearest one right now is in St Louis. So that'd be a 3 hour round trip, plus service time.

They are expanding their service centers to new areas, so in 17 months when my service is due, there could be one closer.
