Notre Dame also had 4 teams below 500 on their schedule. Ball State, Navy, FSU, and USC.

3 of those have been consistent 9-12 game winners in the last decade.
Michigan, Vandy, Pitt, VaTech, Stanford, Syracuse...
That’s a better lineup than almost anyone in the top 10. The only cream puff is Ball State.
