They read the police report. They asked the Chiefs what Hunt said. The Chiefs said Hunt said he never left the room. The NFL probably spoke to other people that were mentioned in the report and all of Hunt’s buddies probably said he never left the room.
Trying not to react to just the video, which nobody but the hotel had at the time, what smoking gun is there to get the NFL to do more?
There aren’t hospital reports of a bruised or injured woman. There isn’t a woman threatening to sue.
I get that it looks absurd now. I’m just saying at the time, I get why they didn’t dig more than they did.
Doesn’t really excuse it.
