Unless they're getting MLB talent in exchange. Prospects won't help you win now but a SP of his caliber will.

I have hard time thinking trading him is going to help unless the plan is to build for three from now. But then why trade for Cano who won't be all that great in a few years?
I don't see how trading Thor for prospects helps the team this year or next.
