I have real maple syrup and it is not something I'd put on any meat.

There's a different flavor profile with BBQ sauce, at least the ones I enjoy which are less sweet and more smoky flavored. I don't do honey bbq, ever.

No one should put ketchup on spaghetti. Those people are heathens!
