One of my coworkers is fluent in Spanish, and a friend of mine is a Spanish court interpreter.

Plus there is a cool coffee house in town that has language-focused evenings. Every Wednesday night is "Spanish Night" where people are encouraged to speak Spanish for an hour, then English for an hour. It's for folks native to either language to practice with each other. It's a bit remote from home or work, but I could probably make that happen.

an assisted living facility by me has "language buddies" -- you can go talk to residents who speak your target language. it's very well-received. - amanda Dec 6, 18:01
