This is so true, in San fran I walked a lot...just to and from the car, up 3 flights of stairs

In the morning the gf would drive downtown, park just as the tow away rush hour was over, I'd walk the dog and get the car before the obe hour neighborhood parking started. You see it in Seattle too, I swear people lose a pound per mile driving from tacoma to seattle
