From earlier, I think the Nessus forge is tougher.

I think the power level is the same, but it seems a bit tougher to complete. If nothing else, it's more annoying. It has the annoying shanks that electrocute the ground. They might be exploding shanks. There are a lot of exploding shanks. Plus I can never remember where the second drone is for the key that is part of some exotic quest (Last Word?). At least they seem to have fixed the issue of the boss servitor making a normal servitor immune while that servitor makes the boss immune. Or I've just been lucky.
If you're about to be teleported or need to reload, try and throw a grenade. You need constant damage on the boss. If it gets the shield back you will likely fail.
Also, only do one frame at a time. You might be able to do two if both are for the same forge. You want the sniper with kill clip. It can body shot in crucible, like the old final round sniper.
