What will become one of my favorite Christmas memories ever happened today.

My 10 year old niece really wants to visit us (Nathan). Her Christmas list included “a ticket to visit Nathan in Tennessee” but she didn’t really think that was a possibility. Well, my brother bought plane tickets and surprised her today.

He wrote her a little book/puzzle where she had to figure out where they were taking a trip. (One of her first guesses was Paris...sorry kiddo!) The look on her face and excitement in her voice when she exclaimed “were going to see Nathan!!!” is something I’ll never forget. She ran over to hug my brother and I’m pretty sure the hug lasted longer than the reading of the story.

The whole thing warmed my heart. I’ve watched the video about 20x tonight.
