Yeah, 2 and 3 both have engaging chefs. We started with 3 and fell in love immediately.

But 3's winner isn't all that satisfying, while 2 has that really odd turn of events that gets people thrown out. Season 5 is pretty blah, all things considered. For me, season 4 is when the best chefs in the world really started taking the show seriously, and season 6 was their strongest cast ever.
