I just can't get into cooking shows and I think I figured out why. It's cause I can't try the food.

Things like Face Off or even Idol and The Voice - I can have an opinion about the final product. The makeup looks good or it doesn't. The song was good or it wasn't.
There's no payoff in the cooking shows for me since I can't eat any of the food.
