From B2: I highly recommend the Couch to 5K Program

I used it about 7-8 years ago to relearn to run. Way to many years before that I had run cross country and track in high school. Pretty much stopped during college and never really got back into it.

Tried to start again to participate in a charity race that my employer does and suddenly found myself fighting everything I remembered from HS days.

So made the effort to start from scratch and the Couch to 5K program was perfect. Forced me to take a realistic approach as well as provided the gradual ramp as opposed to me just going out and trying to do old workouts that I was in no shape to do
