I'd still take Pedro for sheer dominance, but the extra innings that Gibson could go is a good argument.

As much as I hate Armando Benitez, he was not even remotely a bad closer. With a *real* bad closer/pen, then yes there's an argument for someone like Gibson. Of course it's not an ironclad argument because it's not like Pedro *never* had a CG. He lead his league in CGs in 97 and in Shutouts in 2000.
