In response to
"
I mean, Marvel/Disney has built a cross franchise group of characters that people enjoy and enables them to use some story telling short cuts

No, but they burned some of the goodwill with IW.

WB/DC burned the structure of the house, which is worse.

85% at RT with a 91% audience score - that sounds pretty good. -- nm

Do I need to spell out that I mean me? Or is that concept too hard to be grasped in a this sea of GFBism?

"They burned some goodwill" - that's what I was responding to. Or did you not mean goodwill with the audience? nm

I know I only look like a string of letters in a screen, but I'm also the audience. They burned some with me. Ergo.

no, but MDH says below that the general audience did not like it

Are we really using an internet audience score as proof? I mean fanboys swing these things in seconds. -- nm

I'd use the box office - and IW was leggier than other recent Marvel movies, though not quite as much as Black Panther (spoils, I guess)

well, what metric are you using when you say the "general audience did not like it"? -- nm

The normal everyday movie goer. Non Marvel fanboys. The theater I was in reacted so poorly to the movie for example.

That's 'cause it was an uppity DC cityfolk theater

I have 4 people in my house, 3 of them are "normal movie goers" and they all loved it.

It is accurate, as much as those things are. It's also not 100% (or 100%n minus me and MDH).

They really did. You just don't see it or want to admit it. Look I'm not hating you like Marvel. The fact it brings so much joy to you is great

RT disagrees. The MCU universe changes, and that is good. Otherwise we would have more people complaining that "all the movies are the same". -- nm

I can fully admit that not every Marvel movie hits. I am critical of 2 of the Iron Mans, and Thor 2, and Guardians 2.
