"...At the time of the alleged leak of cabinet confidences in November 2015, the subsequent RCMP investigation and the January 2017 decision by Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Jon Vance to suspend Norman from his position as second-in-command of the Canadian Forces, she was the PMO’s director of issues management, a role in which she was chiefly responsible for managing potential political problems."
