On replying to the *real* IM, I'm not sure yet. I think it is Gerald Butts, the PM's right hand man in the most trouble.

But the SNC-Lavalin lobby in Quebec is strong, so I doubt the PM wouldn't have bee privy.
It's a bad look all around. Between this and the Norman case, it's horrible for an election year.
