To be a little clearer, neither of those cases were about who owned the movie.

Looking into it a little more, the actors unions (and other film industry unions) have negotiated a deal with Amazon, Hulu, Netflix as well as Disney, WB, Facebook that sets out how much their members get from streaming residuals.
Obviously we don't know specifically what's in the agreement, but it would be governed by that.
