I'd say that they're welcoming to people who might want to join their church, who feel they have sinned and want to be redeemed

which obviously involves giving up past sins, committing to the faith, etc. At least, that's the welcome Pratt received.
But how welcoming would the church be to someone who said "I'm gay, I want to attend services here with my husband, we want our marriage to be respected just like any other marriage here?".
I think they'd say something like "well, we believe marriage is between a man and a woman, so we don't see that as a marriage. It's a sin and we give sermons about it being a sin and unless you want to give up your sins, there's not a lot of point in coming here".
Which, fair enough, it's what they believe - but scratch the surface of welcoming, and it's not that welcoming.
