....The negative Harper stories would certainly have been a tool that could have been used. Some of the early misinformation around the Kurdi death could have been amplified in its spread.

I'm just saying, it seems awfully hard to believe that Putin wouldn't have been offended by Harper, either for his direct words or the general Canadian Ukrainian/Northern policies, have this online operation already geared up to be rolling within months and not spend *any* time on the Canadian election. That doesn't sound plausible to me.

(Note: I don't actually think it cost the Tories the election. Just that it played in the background like a number of other items.)
