the I-can't-help-but-give-advice part next:

first, make that appointment - maybe delayed, but you'll have it in your pocket.

so sorry it's seeming to be overwhelming. been there with those terribly long catch-up days, and they can end up being counterproductive to a point, because you're so pooped it can impact more days.

maybe you and your boss can work through a plan to see if there's anything you can offload, even just temporarily, while you see if you can find your stride?
