and David and I can get ready to banter back and forth about whether he'll actually spend 2 or 3 seasons with the team that signed him - to me - that's a problem.

i don't have fun watching the Marlins spend crazy money one year only to have a garage sale 3 years later. Same with the Padres or any of these other teams that want to dip their toes into big boy money.

to me - it kinda seemed like the market was very close to possibly correcting itself.
