In response to "A canvasser just came to my door asking me to sign a petition against Round-Up." by Mop

its one f'd chemical, lasts a hella lot longer than they claim, and its used on grain fields just before harvest so its in most ALL our food

ok, what they do it is just before harvest they spray the field, a dying plant diverts all its energy into finishing its seeds.

dessicated husks are a lot easier to run threashing machines over, the grains that much easier to separate.

this increases production as much as 20%.

but, we are spraying a poison on our food a few days before its harvested.

they say it disintergrates within days, but there have been studies that show crops grown in compost from such chaff etc is stunted compared to organic compost.
