It'll give a stronger sense that "anyone" can win BP, so maybe other up and coming content behemoths like Amazon will invest more in prestige movies.

Of course A24 won for Moonlight, Open Road for Spotlight and they weren't major studios, but they weren't the hated and feared disrupter Netflix either.

There'll also be blowback that a foreign language movie that many people don't seem to relate to won the big prize, so we'll probably see something like Cats or the Tom Hanks Mr Rogers biopic win in 2020.
