Hello Everybody. Here's an update.

So I retired from my day job and will be focusing on writing. I sold my first story when I was 17 and have always wanted to be a writer--but that's a notoriously hard way to make a living. I focused on my quant skills to pay the bills, but writing was always the ultimate goal. I have an editor already and am working on a series of fantasy novels I pitched.

In addition to hiking and travel, I'm focusing on corgi rescue. I currently have 3: Oliver, a neglect case I picked up 5 years ago, Murphy, who belonged to an old girlfriend who couldn't care for him during chemo, but he's now with me forever, and Francis, who I pulled from a kill shelter on his last day about a year ago. Francis has become quite popular in california corgi circles and 60 people showed up for a Francis meet and greet in San Jose last month.

I'm in the Mt Shasta area, and can play tour guide if people are in the area. I have a question I want to poll you folks on after the board rolls.
