Yeah there are always going to be needy rescues.

The thing about rescues is that they can't really be planned for. They just happen. My three corgis were all unplanned. The only reason I picked up Francis was he was limited to rescue groups only (and then the shelter didn't notify any) so individuals couldn't adopt him. I was on the board of a county humane society and used that to pull him.
If there's a corgi rescue group near you, volunteer and offer to foster.
