Remember those fake movie reviews I used to write? I'm thinking of writing them again but...

To refresh your memory, it would be like Jesus reviewing the DaVinci Code: "Before I can talk about the movie I need to talk about the controversy. In the words of one of my favorite sinners 'I did not have sexual relations with that woman.' Think about it. I'm an unemployed carpenter..."
Attitudes toward humor have changed a great deal from the early/mid 2000s, and comedians are under fire for things they did years ago. The whole point of the reviews is that they are irreverent and funny. I don't want to have to worry about somebody starting a protest movement against me twenty years from now because I made a joke that they now feel is inappropriate.
Even though I'm retired, I still have other writing projects (that wouldn't be controversial), consulting gigs and dog rescue work that I'm afraid would be affected if something like that happened. How do you folks feel about this? Thanks for your advice.
