His reply was, "Very clearly! I entertain some new or refreshing stuff, but tune out the standard things you hear every game. One time I had a guy say something at me like "toss me those batting gloves, you're not doing anything with them tonight anyways". So I did. I was like 0 for 3 with a strikeout or something. "
