Second prelim round: 127 winners +1 bye
Third prelim round: 64 winners +64 byes
Play-off round: 64 winners
(Round 0: Conference champions who lost in prelim round play-in against lowest ranked play-off winners)
Round 1: 32 remaining teams drawn or seeded against 32 seeded byes
