dano, is your B- based on the merits, or relative to the pixars that have come before?

i loved it and i agree mostly when people say pixar is all about story story story

at the same time, they've obviously found a certain formula (incredibly crafted set pieces interspersed with touching "moments") that they keep going back to. even though the pieces/characters/settings change from film to film, it's beginning to feel like they keep telling the *same* story

i would like to see them apply their skills to something more weighty or substantial, even within the kids/family genre. there's more than one kind of story to be told
