I would have loved it, but it was never happening. I also wonder, given the rumors of time travel and such; maybe this is an alternate reality where Tony was never stranded in space.
Like, instead of splitting apart in Civil War; they came together (new suits) and are going after Thanos together.
I doubt it's as straight-forward as indicated, but I never thought Tony was dying alone in space. (best ha! ever)
