Awesomely aggravating, but just as awesomely funny and interesting.

I also love how simple it is to bork up a network with that but also farily challenging to block. Realistically you normally want DHCP assigned

for my network I reserved a block of static IP's for servers that bypass DHCP

but it wasn't an IP conflict. It was the names colliding. DNS wouldn't care which IP block it came from -- nm
