The fact that the backstop has not been solved after all this time is just mind-boggling to me.

Does May really want to leave? Or has she been hoping all along that public opinion against her Brexit deal would grow so much that Parliament would force a new referendum? Is she really that incompetent?

Part of me wants at least 1 EU country to deny an extension just to spite May. But I also don't want the UK to leave. I think Europe is stronger united and the UK leaving will just encourage other countries to leave. And who benefits from that? Oh, yeah, Russia.
