large tab (for this town, anyway) and I went up to the bar when nobody was looking to pay it. I gave emily my credit card, and she ran it but miskeyed the amount on the credit card machine.

two pitchers of dogfishhead sixty minute, two pitchers of magic hat number nine, seven stout diplomats, seven shots of jack daniels, a bunch of guinness: three dollars, ten cents.

obviously I left a huge tip.
