totally freaked out and alerted the whole base that someone has swine flu. It was a total overreaction and the whole base was buzzing about it, apparently. Friday I got a call from work asking when I'm going to get a test result. I told them, the CDC won't test me. I was totally honest and told them exactly what tests I had, and that given the circumstances it's possible (and maybe likely) I have swine flu. I was very careful how I said it. I thought I was doing my public duty or whatever by informing the health officer, and didn't make any statements of certainty at all. And I don't want anyone to get sick because of me. I'm kind of upset about this whole situation, honestly.
