I'm not too sure about that. Netflix produced 700 original shows in 2018, including many foreign shows, and has 139M world wide subscribers

That's a steep hill for Disney to climb out of the gate

Disney made 25 or so movies in 2018 - and sure they've got the TV show content, but none of that is geared towards an adult - or international audience
