If Netflix becomes niche, my watching habits indicates I'll happily go with them. I spend most of time watching their 'originals'

Voltron, The three animated Godzilla films, The new Ultraman series, The End of the F**king World, Black Mirror, Aggretsuko, To All The Boys I've Loved Before. Some Spainish language (I think it is set in Spain) high school series about a private school that has a cut throat performing arts aspect.
Those are the types of shows that I find myself watching.
The equivalent of comfort food (comfort watching) is that I'm slowly making my way through the remastered Robotech episodes
