If you go back in time and erase an existence, what of the people that were born in the meantime? They're punished for nothing more than existing.
I'm thinking about his first loop where he has the different daughter with the new wife, and then his second Replay wipes them all out so he vows to never have kids again in any of his other Replays, so that he doesn't condemn another of his kids to being erased.
