On the crypts
given what happened outside, the crypts were probably still the safest place in Winterfell. And the crypts have passages that go on for miles - lots of places to run away.
The dead can be raised, but they were still in stone tombs, and maybe he thought that would be enough. (though for some reason they could punch through those)
I think the mistake was not to have a small force of twenty armed men inside the crypt in case anything went wrong.
Also, that moment between Sansa and Tyrion was weird. Sansa's brandishing her dagger and you feel they're going to have a suicide pact, and then they rush out as though it's a heroic charge and they... get to another hiding place. (I guess there were some cuts for time)
Agreed on Bran - it's tough to envision his role from now on - but it was also tough to envision his role in the battle. My guess is in the books he will warg into Nymeria and led her wolf pack against the dead, but they didn't do that in show for $$$$ reasons.
