GOT Spoils and questions

I have to believe (hope) they are saving Jon to do something absolutely crazy/magnificent and perhaps Dany as well in the upcoming Battle For The Throne. WTH was Jon doing at the end last night? Was he trying to protect Bran by screaming at Zombie Viserion? And wth was the warging about? How is that useful and what does it do? Anything useful in the moment?

That said, I heart that in the Battle of Winterfell, Arya became The Night Kingslayer. Every part of her journey since she left for Kings' Landing in Season 1 prepared her to be able to most effectively kill WhiteWalkers. Even better than dragons, Valyrian steel and dragonstone. That's some cool storytelling.
