You’ve been appointed acting manager of [my work team ] beginning on the departure of the current manager. The eight person unit holds a celebration for the manager who is leaving on a year log secondment. You’re invited but can’t attend.at the event, the building in which it’s held collapses. The team and manager are all killed. As there are pressing issues to address, [the person I report to] convinced his colleagues to lend him staff on a temporary basis to fill the eight vacancies. They come from across the [workplace]. You start Monday. What action do you take?
