I thought it was just regular mobile data, but faster. Perhaps I don't use it as much as others, but I was having a problem seeing the point. If 4G gets you an HD video without buffering, why would anyone need more?
I'm a bit old school and I still prefer wired connection for pretty much everything (I work in video, so transferring gigantic files is a daily thing, so wifi doesn't cut it)
If 5G can also change how we transfer data, sure. But I still think a lot of people will pay extra for a 5G phone just to post photos on Instagram and watch crappy videos on Twitter...
