Thinking about how DARK the world seemed after the snap, it makes even more sense when you think about this. No Sorcerer Supreme, no Eye of Agamoto. Who knows what has set foot on our world during those years.

And now, Strange is is back, ready to kick ass. Without the Eye. The next Doctor Strange movie really has been set up well.
