Double episode
We learn early in that Sheldon and Amy win the Nobel. Of course Sheldon has trouble coping with how things are changing including Amy getting a makeover.
It's all about himself for Sheldon, e.g. his acceptance speech looks like it will run over 90 minutes, he doesn't react/congratulate when he learns that Penny is pregnant, etc.
In the end he realises that the win happened because of the people in his life and acknowledges them as his speech.
It's all about the friendship and love between them.
