... but what I really want is an LT3.

Should I buy a cheap temporary hat in lieu of the TWP1, and then hold out for the LT3 with the snap-up brim? The TWP1, being completely waterproof, would work better here in the spring/fall/winter; but, being somewhat airtight, would be very sweltering in the spring/summer. Hrm.

It's a tough call.
