hiring Manafort, listening to Trump constantly espouse his admiration for Putin, etc., and not think our intelligence agencies would be derelict if they weren't investigating. Even if the Steele Dossier was a meaningful part of the decision (which all evidence shows so far that it was not), how could they not investigate that from a credible allied investigator. It's just mind-boggling. And now you also know that what gets declassified is going to be cherry-picked to build his narrative, but even so, I don't understand how anyone could think it should have been ignored.
