My mom had the unzoned version of this in her old house. It was nice. I have no furnace, so no thermostat except the ones on each a/c.

Efficient too. That house was never cold, even at -50. Dog didn’t like it in the winter though, he’d usually lie on the one place that didn’t have it (landing at the top of the stairs).

      - in theory I have central heat. in practice it's forced hot air and I like my skin *and* my upstairs is converted loft space (so electric heat) - amanda Jun 3, 09:19
