So I have to think with SCOTUS ruling to uphold the Double Jeopardy rule, that should be the end of any pardon coming Manafort's way. Right??

why would The Despot waste political capital to pardon someone who would most likely still end up in prison on state charges?

iirc, it wouldn't keep him from testifying, he can't plead the 5th anymore and I'm sure the prosecution would love to nail him for purjury -- nm
