The question is whether it's *hurt* anyone's career. I don't think so, but that would be hard to quantify.

James Marsden and Famke Janssen are invisible to me outside of the X-Men franchise (Sonic the Hedgehog and NBC's The Blacklist, essentially). Would they have done better without X-Men? Or not existed at all? The rest... meh. They're all Hollywood stars regardless.
