I like from the limited times I see Ferguson, he makes his mistakes and doesn't run them into the ground like Letterman

Leno isn't as funny but rarely is horrific.
Letterman is way too hit or miss and when he misses, he misses huge and continues to do it.
Conan and Ferguson seem to have a lot more fun with it; without it being a job.
