That's not what I said. My point is that they have a *good reason* to keep guys like Reimold and Weiters in the minors.

You don't bring up young players, just because you can. The art to managing a baseball roster has to have an economic side to it, particularly when you're competing against behemoths like the Yanks and Sox.
Your example, the Indians in the late 90s were competitive by coording their farm system to get their young players on the cheap, is exactly what I'm saying.
Again, I'm not saying they *can't* bring up Reimold, Weiters, et al. I'm saying they can, but they don't *have* to.
